Bakhlava Cheesecake Rolls

The perfect blend of cheesecake & bakhlava that will elevate your dessert table!
Ingredients
  • 1 x Phyllo Roll
  • 100g Butter
  • 250g Vanilla Biscuits
  • 250g Cream Cheese
  • 1 tin Condensed milk
  • 250ml Fresh Cream
  • 1 tblsp. Vanilla Essence
  • 1 tblsp. Flour
  • 1 tblsp. Lemon Juice
For Serving
  • Caramel Sauce
  • Pistachio’s (chopped fine)
  • Edible Roses
Method
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 160˚.
  2. Roll out the phyllo pastry & cut into thin strips.
  3. Place into a cheesecake pan.
  4. Mix the butter & biscuits together & place into the pan.
  5. Mix the balance of ingredients together& whisk well.
  6. Pour into the phyllo roll.
  7. Bake on 160˚ for 15-20 minutes till golden.
  8. Refrigerate overnight.
  9. Decorate with caramel sauce, pistachio & edible roses.
