Rich butter loaf cake with swirls of chocolate & caramel
Ingredients
- 170g Butter
- 300g Sugar
- 50g Chocolate (melted)
- 80g Caramel Sauce
- 3 Eggs
- 220g Flour
- ½ tsp. Salt
- ¼ tsp. Baking Powder
- 125ml Sour Cream
- 1 tblsp. Cocoa Powder
- 2 tsp. Vanilla Essence
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Line a tin with greaseproof paper.
- Beat the eggs & sugar in.
- Add the eggs one at a time.
- Add in the sour cream, flour, salt & baking powder.
- Divide the mix into three.
- Place cocoa & chocolate in one & mix well.
- Place the vanilla essence in another & mix well.
- Place the caramel treat in the third & mix well.
- Drop spoonful’s into the tin & alternate the colours.
- Bake till a skewer comes out clean.
