Rich, velvety sweetness topped with crispy kataifi, creamy pistachio’s & chocolate.
Ingredients: Burfee
- 250ml Fresh Cream
- 300g Milk Powder
- 140g Icing Sugar
- 1 tsp. Elachi Powder
Ingredients: Topping
- 2 tblsp. Butter
- 1 cup Kataifi
- Pistachio Sauce
- Chocolate
Method:
- For the burfee… heat the fresh cream in a pot.
- Add the milk powder, icing sugar & stir till absorbed.
- Stir in the elachi powder & remove from heat.
- Place into a 15 x 15 cm lined tray & refrigerate.
- For the topping… melt the butter, toast the kataifi till golden & allow to cool.
- When cool, mix in the pistachio sauce & smear over the burfee.
- Cover with melted chocolate & refrigerate.
- Decorate as desired, cut into squares & serve.
