Feta, Fig & Pistachio Phyllo

Home » Feta, Fig & Pistachio Phyllo

Crispy, creamy, golden perfection in every bite!
Ingredients: 
  • 1 x Phyllo Pastry
  • 12 Thick Feta Sticks
  • 100g Butter
  • 1 Bottle Preserved Figs (chopped fine)
  • ¼ cup Pistachios (chopped fine)
  • Honey to drizzle over
Method: 
  1. Cut the phyllo in half & place on top of each other.
  2. Brush butter between the 2 layers, then on top.
  3. Spread the preserved fig mix, pistachios thinly on the phyllo.
  4. Place the feta sticks down the centre.
  5. Roll tightly.
  6. Slice into rings.
  7. Place into a buttered tray.
  8. Add a blob of butter on top & brush the sides with butter.
  9. Bake at 180˚ till golden (+/- 20 mins)
  10. Drizzle with honey as soon as it comes out the oven.
  11. Serve with labneh, hummus, olives, cucumber & dates.
