Home » Feta, Fig & Pistachio Phyllo
Crispy, creamy, golden perfection in every bite!
Ingredients:
- 1 x Phyllo Pastry
- 12 Thick Feta Sticks
- 100g Butter
- 1 Bottle Preserved Figs (chopped fine)
- ¼ cup Pistachios (chopped fine)
- Honey to drizzle over
Method:
- Cut the phyllo in half & place on top of each other.
- Brush butter between the 2 layers, then on top.
- Spread the preserved fig mix, pistachios thinly on the phyllo.
- Place the feta sticks down the centre.
- Roll tightly.
- Slice into rings.
- Place into a buttered tray.
- Add a blob of butter on top & brush the sides with butter.
- Bake at 180˚ till golden (+/- 20 mins)
- Drizzle with honey as soon as it comes out the oven.
- Serve with labneh, hummus, olives, cucumber & dates.
