Middle Eastern Honeycomb Bread

Soft flour rolls filled with feta & olives
Ingredients (Dough)
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1 tblsp. Yeast
  • 1 tblsp. Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • ¼ cup Helios Sunflower Oil
  • 1 cup Warm Water
Ingredients (Filling)
  • Olives (pitted)
  • Feta (cubes)
Ingredients (To serve)
  • Olives (pitted)
  • Feta (cubes)
Method (Potato Filling)
  • Labne
  • Marinated Olives
  • Cucumber
Method (Dough)
  1. Mix all the dough ingredients together.
  2. Knead it till it forms a soft dough.
  3. Leave it to rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Then fill with Olives & Feta & make into small balls.
  5. Let it rest for another 15 minutes.
  6. Brush the top with milk or egg & sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  7. Bake on 180 degrees till golden.
  8. Serve with Labne, Marinated Olives & Cucumber.

Serves 3-4 people.
